Marks and Spencer butted into a Twitter war between Lidl and Aldi and shut it down hilariously

They aren’t too posh to have a sense of humour.

Oh, the banter was sure had by the people at Aldi and Lidl HQ.

Then one online retailer stepped in and suggested that Marks and Spencer, or one of their posh supermarket rivals Waitrose would be totally incapable of engaging in these kinds of ‘bants’.

Marks and Spencer couldn’t allow that accusation to stand.

They slipped in with a more current meme format than gives and scoffed at the suggestion of being incapable of having a laugh online.

Aside from receiving considerably more favourites than Aldi and Lidl, Marks and Spencer’s victory was confirmed by the number of people who applauded them.
